A New Frontier: Highway Twenty Is Now Part of Casual Astronaut
The acquisition begins a new chapter for Casual Astronaut, with expanded industry verticals, new clients and additional team members
Since launching in 2014, Casual Astronaut has produced magazines, websites and digital marketing programs for a variety of global brands and academic institutions, including The Ritz-Carlton, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Starwood Hotels, Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, Ochsner Health System and the University of Arizona. And now, with our first acquisition, the roster is getting longer.

The acquisition of Highway Twenty brings a special set of skills and experience to Casual Astronaut:
A Unique Vision — Highway Twenty, a marketing firm focused on nonprofits and socially conscious organizations, was founded by Carla Sandine in 2011. Sandine’s experience as a former international NGO public affairs officer drove the company’s vision and strategy, while a suite of experienced writers, designers, photographers and digital marketers helped make it a successful reality. Causes and Clients — In the past five years, Highway Twenty has worked with more than 50 different organizations, many of them cause-related. The firm’s clients include the Arizona Humane Society, the City of Phoenix, First Things First, Southwest Human Development, RubiconMD, Society for Animal Welfare Administrators and Arizona Gives Day — which raised more than $2.8 million this year in donations for state nonprofit organizations.
Talent and Team Work — Two new team members join the Casual Astronaut team as a part of the acquisition: Art Director Lizelle Galaz and Marketing Coordinator Katie-Lee Faulkner. They bring a fresh perspective to digital design and marketing.
Most importantly, the newly expanded Casual Astronaut means a growing offering of services and more creative minds to serve our clients.
